The Cleveland Club #351 meets every Thursday at 12:10 PM at the Cleveland Public Library on Superior, Louis Stokes Wing. Our meetings are held in Room 218 (east) and usually last one hour. You do not need to register or call in advance. We always welcome guests and we would love for you to attend one of our meetings!
Since you are reading this information you must have some interest in perfecting your speaking and presentation skills. Our meetings are held in a very comfortable environment with a small (but growing) group with a mix of experienced and new Toastmasters, everyone is there for the same reason you are. Feel free to bring a friend or co-worker that also may be interested in working on their presentation skills. Do not feel obligated to participate during your initial visit, you can wait until you are comfortable. Everyone in our group has been new to Toastmasters at one time or another so we have all gone through the initial experience, everyone is very supportive and you can proceed at your own pace.
Membership in our club is $27 for 6 months, plus a one-time $20 fee for materials. The one-time fee covers the cost of the Toastmasters manual including guidelines for your first 10 speeches and other TM materials, including a subscription to Toastmasters International magazine, to get you started. You don't have to pay anything to attend as a guest and see what we are all about. If you come to one of our noon-time meetings and are interested in membership, then we will give you a membership application form and more detailed information about joining.
Please feel free to contact us at cleveland-officers@freetoasthost.org if you need any further information.
